Visiting a Chicken Farm in Sancheong (Eolleji Pineun Village 얼레지 피는 마을)

Hotel Koko (Name of the chicken farm)


This village was named after the wild eolleji (fawnlilies) 얼레지 which grow along the farm. 

t's main target are children, there is a mini library facility where children can read a wide variety of books. 
Also inside this village is a chicken farm called the hotel koko 호텔코코. 

Inside the nest where you can see eggs that have been laid.

You can interact with the chickens  and do some egg picking activity!

We were also given some mint tea and snacks.

But that's not all, included in the whole experience package is a healing/therapeutic water and barefoot walking experience. 

They have this big cold pool where you dip your feet in cold water.

And then you will walk barefoot in a trail wilth small pebbles. They said this has a haing effect and is good for the digestive system!

The  people here were so warm and nice. And you'll be feeling more relaxed after the whole activity.

Iksan Trip Part 2: Apple Vinegar Making Experience at Kosrak (고스락), the 4000-Jar Garden [The King Eternal Monarch Filming Location]

Kosrak (고스락) Kosrak Garden is one of the filming locations of the recent show "The King Eternal Monarch"!  It is a unique garden filled with as many as 4000 Hangari 항아리 (Jars) which are also used for fermentation. Touring around Namsa Yedam Village in Sancheong and a must-try foot bath experience.

Very beautiful interior of the foot bath house. It's a nice area to stroll around as you walk along the walls and various traditional houses which made this village get the distinction as the No.1 among the most beautiful villages in Korea. Namsa Yedamchon Hanok Village has old houses dating back hundreds of years.  The word yedam in its name comes from the artistic walls, walls that stretch 3.2 kilometers around the neighborhood. After walking around, it is suggested to visit this foot bath experience  facility  which only costs 5000 won! The interior design of the whole place was quite exceptional.
