What's inside the Suncheon Bay National Garden

This is a very huge garden which spans up to 1.112 square kilometers and houses over 505 species of trees and 113 species of flowers.

This place is also a recommended wellness spot. Walking a long this beautiful garden filled with so much nature will surely relieve your stress away.

The main area is this lake with three hills which look very futuristic.

You can easily spend a day here where you can get lost in the  55 different garden units each with their own theme.

You can climb the hills and get a nice vantage point of the area.

The diversity of flowers and the landscape design is so astounding. Definitely world-class!

It's no wonder this place has been touted as the No. 1 National Garden in South Korea. The whole place is a literal garden! Flowers everywhere!

There's so many photospots and the overall landscape and design is spot on. Definitely worth a visit!

There are also themed garden spots which feature garden designs based on other countries such as this Chinese Garden.

There's also a Dutch Garden which features this large windmill and a favorite photozone.

There's also a lot of European-inspired gardens.

I really liked this photospot.

The mascots of the garden are these two storks which are commonly found in Suncheon during migratory season. There is also a remarkable history on how the people of Suncheon were able to save these birds from the brink of extinction.

Another highlight of the garden is the Garden of Dreams which feature these colorful hangeul characters.
On the walls, there's also these tiles which feature drawing of children.

Our feet was so tired of walking. Luckily there is a facility inside the garden where you can experience traditional foot bath! It costs around 7000원.

You can do opt to have warm or cold water for the foot bath. I preferred the warm one. They also put aromatic essential oils on the water for an added aroma theraphy.

They also place a sparkling ball on the foot bath for some added effect.

The whole experience lasts for 20 minutes. This outdoor foot bath was so relaxing, this was the scene which you can see suring the foot bath, so calming.

They will also serve a cup of tea! You can choose Omija tea or a tea from roots, choose the Omija tea, it's so refreshing!

We had a good time exploring the area, the place was so huge there were still a lot of spots we were not able to go. We definitely need to go back next time!
