What's inside the Suncheon Bay National Garden

Image
This is a very huge garden which spans up to 1.112 square kilometers and houses over 505 species of trees and 113 species of flowers.  This place is also a recommended wellness spot. Walking a long this beautiful garden filled with so much nature will surely relieve your stress away. The main area is this lake with three hills which look very futuristic.  You can easily spend a day here where you can get lost in the  55 different garden units each with their own theme. You can climb the hills and get a nice vantage point of the area. The diversity of flowers and the landscape design is so astounding. Definitely world-class! It's no wonder this place has been touted as the No. 1 National Garden in South Korea. The whole place is a literal garden! Flowers everywhere!

Suncheon Bay Wetlands, serenity at it's finest

Image
This is my favorite place in South Korea. The whole place is just stunning! During fall and winter season, the reeds also become golden brown which transforms the place. This time we went  during summer so everything was green! The Suncheonman Wetlands is a well-preserved natural coastline rich in biodiversity and acts as a sanctuary for animals especially migratory birds. The entrance facility looks really modern and at the same time, eco-friendly. You will pass along this beautiful tunnel.  The backdrop of the surrounding mountains and the clear skies completes the whole natural landscape. Because of its remarkable beauty, this place has been designated as one of the Recommended Wellness Spots in South Korea. Take a healing trip! There's this therapeutic effect behind the simple act of walking along the wooden path surrounded with reed fields.
