Touring around Namsa Yedam Village in Sancheong and a must-try foot bath experience.
Very beautiful interior of the foot bath house.
It's a nice area to stroll around as you walk along the walls and various traditional houses which made this village get the distinction as the No.1 among the most beautiful villages in Korea.
Namsa Yedamchon Hanok Village has old houses dating back hundreds of years.
The word yedam in its name comes from the artistic walls, walls that stretch 3.2 kilometers around the neighborhood.
After walking around, it is suggested to visit this foot bath experience facility which only costs 5000 won!
The interior design of the whole place was quite exceptional. Foot baths are arranged in two rows and in the middle are hanging plants.
The whole setup worked well to reach that calming ambiance.
You will use an herbal mixture on the foot bath which they have prepared beforehand.
They were very generous. We were also provided with tea.
Watermelon.
A fan against the heat.
...and aloe for putting on the feet after the foot bath.
There's also a restaurant just a few meters away from the foot bath house which serves delicious Korean food Hansik '한식'.
(Bonus: There's also this spot in the village where there are twin trees that form a heart shape in their branches. This spot was a shooting location in the drama '황이 된 남자')
The staff are so warm and welcoming. Do visit this place when you get the chance to go to this village.
